Creating a generationOn Account

How old do I have to be to join generationOn and create an account?

We have user accounts and resources for all ages. If you are under 13, you'll need a parent's permission.

Do I have to register in order to visit generationOn.org?

You do not have to be registered to visit the generationOn website. Registration allows users to track service, post stories, apply for grants and awards, register for programs, and download certain materials and resources. Registering also allows users to receive special updates and announcements from generationOn about upcoming events and opportunities.

What if I am under the age of 13? Can I still register?

Yes! You will need your parent's permission. We comply with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. We do not collect any identifying information from users or visitors under the age of 13. To read more about generationOn's privacy policy, click here.

What if I don't fit into any audience category? Can I still register?

You do not have to be a teen, parent, teacher, or organization to create an account. We encourage everyone to create an account, and simply ask that when registering, you select one affiliated audience that connects to your interest in generationOn resources. This helps generationOn direct the most approrpriate information to the registered users when new resources and materials are added to the site.

Who can I contact if I'm experiencing issues registering on www.generationon.org?
