The Ready-Set-Go! program seeks to provide nonprofit organizations with the capacity, resources, and tools to more effectively engage youth and family volunteers. The program works to create a network of nonprofits across the United States that are using youth and family volunteers to meet their mission-critical needs.
Nonprofits are able to expand their volunteer base and help develop civically-engaged youth and families to commit to their issue area.
Youth are able to build relationships with their community in meaningful ways and develop important skills and tools to become committed, lifelong citizens.
Families are offered opportunities to spend meaningful time together and deepen relationships within their family and between the nonprofit or community.
Communities develop stronger, more connected networks in their local neighborhoods. It also helps bring people of all ages and backgrounds together to build community resiliency.
